From Afar
Unattainable desire
just out of my reach.
Pulling me, once again,
into the breach.
So beautiful,
but yet so far away.
I cling to the hope
that maybe someday
the barriers between us
will cease to exist
and there will be no more
reason to resist.
Until that day
I will wait patiently
and remain content
with just a fantasy.
